It’s been awhile…
Since I’ve posted. I’ve been extremely busy (and unmotivated to check this site) but here are some life updates:
1. I got married! He’s a wonderful man who is attentive to me, and treats me exactly perfect. We work so well as a team, it’s like we live in each others head. If one of us needs something, it’s like the other person knows. He’s absolutely perfect for me.
2. I moved! We moved from an apartment to a house (with his brother and sister in law) and it’s been great! I’ve been able to practice cooking for everyone, and we get a wing of the house to ourselves, so no one gets in anyone else’s hair.
3. I decided to go into archaeology. It’s what I’ve always wanted to do, a childhood dream. I think I was hesitant at first because I didn’t think I could do it, and was just going to go into teaching as a backup. But I realized it wasn’t what I wanted to do, and even though I love being a tutor and substitute teacher, I don’t think I could be happy in a teaching position.
This is probably the happiest I’ve been in so long, and as we were coming back from the beach tonight, I realized that yes, I am happy. It’s such a nice feeling.
